StrangeLittleGirl (work in progress)
As a child I’d be mesmerized by raindrops on a window, discovering all sorts of creatures in their trails. Even as I got older furry monsters appeared in cracks on wooden doors, chipped paint reveiled platypus and stains on walls turned into dancing cats before my very eyes. Now, I can barely imagine that I once stopped drawing, stopped really looking. For years. I was so miserable, but I didn’t realize that I just wasn’t being myself. The girl who needed to draw, to be near the sea and amongst trees and see little creatures all around. She’s back now, it’s not too late. In fact, her timing couldn’t be better.
